In Karl Gnass's class this we we talked about composition and were encouraged to think through the placement of every mark on the page.

on a technical note, I found out that when I run out of paper and I am drawing against a hard surface, it really make even the slights strokes show up heavy.  Luckily I ran out of paper and will be onto a new pad next week.

Hello again everyone!

Even though I have a BFA in Graphic Design from Oregon State University I am no longer a Graphic Designer!! I really enjoyed the skills in visual communications and the process involved with art creation that I learned in GD but am thrilled to pursue my passion in Los Angeles as an artist in the entertainment industry.

My goal is to become a StoryBoard Artist. I am not in an official "program" such as art center. I take classes from Gary Meyers, Charles Hu, Karl Gnass, Ron Velasco, Mark Hannah, and many man more through small independent studios. While I work full time as an extra actor through Central Casting.

I have been doing this for the past year and a half and am nearing the point where I want to create a body of work to use as a portfolio.
